AJHS Drama Club Musical Announcement

Dear AJHS Parents,

We are excited to announce auditions for the AJHS Drama Club’s first-ever musical!

Group Auditions for acting, singing, and dancing will be held on Wednesday, January 15th and Friday, January 17th, from 3:15 to 5:00 PM in the auditorium. Students must attend both days to be considered for a role. We are looking for enthusiasm, effort, and teamwork—no solo performances are required, unless the student is auditioning for a leading role. For a leading role, students should be prepared to sing a solo (either a song of their choice or one we provide during auditions).

Callbacks (if needed): Tuesday, January 21st from 3:15-5:00 PM

If your child is interested in being involved but doesn't want to perform, they can join the Crew! There are plenty of ways to contribute, including helping with hair/makeup, set design, costumes, set building, lights, sound, stage management, ushers, curtain crew, and more.

Students interested in being part of the cast or crew should sign up in the office. Please encourage your child to sign up and be part of something truly fun and unique!

If your child cannot attend the tryout dates, please have them let Mrs. Henkel, Mrs. King, or Mr. Kerley know as soon as possible. If your child is involved in other activities, we will coordinate with coaches and sponsors to ensure they can participate.

Performances will take place on April 11th and 12th.
